Allies in Prevention Awards
A unique opportunity to recognize the unsung heroes who are changing children’s lives in Northern Virginia

Every April—during National Child Abuse Prevention Month—SCAN and its Allies in Prevention Coalition present the Allies in Prevention Awards. These awards recognize individuals in Northern Virginia who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect in our community. One individual is recognized from each of the following regions: Alexandria, Arlington, Loudoun, Fairfax/Falls Church, and Greater Prince William. Winners are announced at the Annual Allies in Prevention Awards Luncheon in early April.
