Parenting can be tough.
Asking for help doesn't have to be.

This year, our campaign focuses on supporting parents as a way to prevent abuse and neglect in our community. We want parents to know that it's okay to ask for help. Learning more about strategies, support and resources is a great way to become a stronger, happier parent. For parenting tips and resources, click here.

Be a part of the campaign!

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and SCAN's Blue Ribbon Campaign is the perfect opportunity to get involved in supporting children and families in our community!

Approximately three million children will be victims of child abuse and neglect this year, and thousands of children will be affected right here in Northern Virginia. Do your part to help prevent abuse and neglect by supporting the parents you know.

Wear a Blue Ribbon as a sign of support for children and parents.
