SCAN’s Public Education Program works to educate the public—from parents and caregivers to community leaders and neighbors—about positive parenting, preventing child abuse and strengthening families in Northern Virginia.

SCAN EVENTS
Special events are held throughout the year to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect as well as to raise funds for SCAN's programs. SCAN also attends a number of community events in an effort to reach new populations throughout the region.
