2010 Allies in Prevention Awards Luncheon
March 25, 2010

On March 25, 2010, SCAN and the Allies in Prevention Coalition honored five individuals for their work to protect children and support families in Northern Virginia. Keynote Speaker Carmen Nazario, the Obama Administration’s new Assistant Secretary for Children and Families, and NBC4's Craig Melvin joined the audience of more than 175 child welfare advocates and elected officials to kick off the launch of SCAN’s Northern Virginia Child Abuse Prevention Campaign for 2010.

SCAN’s 14th annual golf tournament will again be held at the beautiful Westfields Golf Course in Clifton, Virginia. The event is expected to raise more than $50,000 in critical funds for SCAN’s child abuse prevention programs.
