7th Annual Toast to Hope

Fine wine, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and silent auction are just a few of the reasons this popular event draws such a large crowd and raises record-breaking funds every year for SCAN’s important programs. Our 2009 event will take place at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association Conference Center in Arlington.

Tee-Off “Fore” Children & Families
SCAN’s 13th Annual Golf Tournament

Held at the beautiful Westfields Golf Course in Clifton, Virginia, SCAN’s 13th annual golf tournament was once again the highlight of the spring, raising more than $44,000 in critical funds for SCAN’s child abuse prevention programs.

2009 Allies in Prevention Awards Luncheon

In 2009 The Allies in Prevention Coalition and SCAN of Northern Virginia will honor five individuals from across the region who go above and beyond to protect and support our community’s children. Special guests will include Dr. Robert G. Templin, President of Northern Virginia Community College, and NBC4’s Julie Carey.
