Megan Sharma, a SCAN intern, will be presenting Operation Safe Babies at the Physician’s Conference Center at Inova Fairfax Hospital on August 18th, after her summer of research and resource development at SCAN. Download a flyer about the event here.
The goal of this initiative is to educate parents, families and caregivers about how to prevent Shaken Baby Syndrome and Sudden Infant Death/Sudden Unexpected Infant Death. Megan’s presentation will begin at 10:15 AM and is intended for professionals and paraprofessionals who work closely with parents and parents-to-be.
