SCAN's Upcoming Parenting Workshops
SCAN periodically offers Parenting Workshops at its Educational Parent Support Groups and Success by 6 ® Playgroups in an effort to link parents to a variety of community agencies and available resources as a way of providing ongoing support to families.
Family Nutrition (2-Week Workshop!)
Join SCAN’s Parent Support Group to learn about the importance of serving sizes, exercise and how to provide healthy meals on a limited budget! Workshop will include samples of healthy snacksand all participants who join us for both session of this TWO-WEEK workshop will receive a completion certificate and special giveaways from the Virginia Cooperative Extension.
