As part of a national campaign through Prevent Child Abuse America, SCAN is proud to introduce the pinwheel as the new symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention in conjunction with our 2011 Pause for a Child campaign.
The pinwheel is a symbol we all remember from childhood. It represents a change in the way our community thinks about prevention, a focus on programs and policies that prioritize prevention right from the start to make sure child abuse and neglect never occur.
