Policy

In a time when government budgets and services are being drastically cut, SCAN believes it is crucial that we understand this is when support for parents and caregivers is most needed. This is not the time to cut back on services. It is the time to raise awareness and remind parents and families that they are not alone; that there are ways to work with their children and ways to keep children safe.

We encourage you to learn more about the policies affecting our community’s children, and to join SCAN as we advocate for continued support of child welfare issues in our local, state and national governments.
