Ready to help SCAN "raise some
dough"?
Our local Great Harvest Bread Co.  is celebrating their anniversary
by supporting a local nonprofit through their
"Baker for a Day" program. SCAN has a
chance to be that lucky
nonprofit!

CASA Volunteer Lauren* has
spent the last  year advocating for a
teenage mother of two young children.
From the onset, she has not taken her
CASA child's circumstances - as both a child and
mother - lightly.
Through e-mail, visitation
outings, and staying in touch with the girl's
foster parents, Lauren is dedicated to
speaking up for this young girl. She does a
fantastic job communicating her needs and giving
the teen a voice in her reports to the
Judge. This is especially impactful because
it communicates to older youth in care that they
are a part of the court
proceedings!
