TRANSITIONS IN SCAN'S CASA
PROGRAM
Denise Parks, one of SCAN's
part-time CASA Case Supervisors, will be leaving
SCAN to devote more time to family. Denise
has been a valued member of the teamwork that goes
on between staff and CASA Volunteers, as well as a
true team member at SCAN. We appreciate the
focused and professional work she has given the
program. We'll all miss her, but we do look
forward to running into her at Arlington
happenings.
Nancy Tran has
accepted the new full-time CASA Case Supervisor
position and is already immersed in the current
CASA training that is underway. Nancy has a
background of working with domestic violence and
child abuse as a Victim Advocate in law
enforcement agencies and family
shelters. Her work has centered around
working with volunteers in these positions in both
Arkansas and Florida. She is bilingual in
Spanish and English and will be a wonderful
addition to SCAN'S CASA
team.
