"BAKER FOR A DAY"
FUNDRAISER A DELICIOUS SUCCESS!
Special
thanks to Great Harvest Bread Co. in Alexandria
for inviting SCAN to be a "Baker for a Day"
last month. SCAN volunteers arrived at 5:00
AM to begin baking breads, scones and cookies -
all to be sold to benefit SCAN. Great
Harvest owners Anwar and Rajaa Maysaud organized
this special event to celebrate the 16th
anniversary of the bakery.
The
day raised more than $1,400 for SCAN's
programs!
