Pinwheels for Prevention

The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention.

During National Child Abuse Prevention Month and all year long, we are proud to share this symbol of hope and commitment to the children of Northern Virginia.

Ready to show your support outdoors? You can purchase pinwheels or lawn signs from our friends at positivepromotions.com, or contact us to learn more.

Faith and community groups: Ways to get involved

Planted Pinwheels
Our Pinwheel Partners are powerful voices during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

By planting pinwheel gardens on their properties in April, partners help raise awareness and share powerful prevention messages with the community.

Become a partner today to get connected with our vendors for special rates, so that you can access materials, pay less, and have items shipped or delivered directly to your garden locations.

From CASA volunteers to board members to parenting program participants, SCAN speakers have a variety of backgrounds and would love to share their stories with you.
